Shipping + Returns

This policy sets out how we ship and package artworks and purchased from Kraairivier Huis Gallery, and the conditions under which returns may be accepted.

Order Confirmation

Once your purchase is confirmed and full payment received, we will issue a written acknowledgement by email. Please review your shipping details carefully as changes cannot be made once an order has been dispatched.

Packing + Handling

All artworks are professionally packed to minimise the risk of damage in transit. Framed works with glass will have their glass removed for shipping, and the buyer will need to have the glass replaced on arrival at their own expense. 

Domestic Shipping (South Africa)

We offer free door-to-door courier shipping on all original artworks within South Africa. Deliveries usually arrive within 3–5 working days once dispatched.

International Shipping

We gladly ship original paintings to collectors worldwide via TUNL (partnered with FedEx and UPS).

• Calculated at Checkout: Accurate shipping costs based on the artwork’s size and destination are displayed automatically when you enter your address.

• Door-to-Door Tracking: You will receive a tracking link as soon as your artwork is dispatched so you can follow its journey step-by-step.

• Customs & Import Duties: International orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes upon arrival in your country, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns + Refunds

Original artworks are sold as unique items. Sales are generally final and non-refundable, except in the case of verified damage in transit or where the work materially differs from its written description at the time of sale.

For eligible returns, the artwork must be returned in its original packing and condition within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping, insurance and any restocking costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
