Tracy Algar. A Gathering Sky. 2026
A Gathering Sky (over Oorlogspoort) is an original oil painting started en plein air on the Karoo farm “Karoo Secret” not far from Aberdeen and completed in studio, by South African artist Tracy Algar. This piece captures the huge, dramatic Karoo skies as a summer storm approaches. A much anticipated event in this arid landscape.
